Las Vegas, NV – The Clark County–Las Vegas Urban League has named Missey Love the next President and Chief Executive Officer.
Love brings more than 15 years of executive leadership experience across the nonprofit and corporate sectors, with a strong background in fundraising, organizational growth, and community engagement. She has led major fundraising initiatives, strengthened donor and corporate partnerships, and guided organizations through periods of thoughtful transition and sustainable growth. A veteran of the United States Navy, Love also brings a disciplined, mission -driven approach to leadership. Throughout her career, she has supported nonprofit organizations through organizational development, helping teams strengthen internal capacity, align strategy, and build for long term impact.

“Missey is a steady, values-driven leader with deep experience in nonprofit management and fundraising,” said Tony Bourne, chairman of the Clark County–Las Vegas Urban League Board of Directors. “She understands the importance of listening first, building trust, and aligning people around shared goals. Her leadership style reflects exactly what our organization needs as we prepare for our next chapter.”
Over the coming months, Love will focus on an intentional onboarding process, meeting with board members, staff, community partners, and stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of the organization and the communities it serves. This approach reflects a shared commitment between the board and executive leadership to ensure a smooth transition and position the organization for sustained growth and impact.
“I’m grateful for the board’s confidence and excited to begin this next chapter with the Clark County–Las Vegas Urban League,” Love said. “My priority is to listen, learn, and build strong relationships across the organization and community so that we can move forward with clarity, purpose, and impact.”
