Recently the U.S. Pan-Asian American Chamber of Commerce [USPAACC] had their annual conference at the Westgate Hotel and the Las Vegas Urban League Entrepreneurship Center was well represented.
This was a conference to celebrate the achievements of Asian Americans across the United States. The event consisted of several presentations on the accomplishments of the Asian American Chambers and concluded with a small business fair on Wednesday of last week.
Both the National Urban League and the USPAACC are tier 1 hubs in the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Community Navigator Pilot Program, so both organizations provided various organizations and affiliates the services that align with the mission of the LVUL Entrepreneurship Center.
The Las Vegas SBA’s District Office and the USPAACC asked invited Executive Director Dino Browne to speak about the CNPP program and to share success stories that we have seen over the last 1.5 years that we have been a part of the SBA program.
“It was an honor and a blessing to be asked by the USPAACC to speak at their annual conference”, said Dino Browne, Executive Director for the Las Vegas Urban League Entrepreneurship Center. “We discussed how we are all working together with the SBA to help small business owners know that we are in their corner to help them get access to capital, business consulting, and mentorship for their organizations.
